Countryside Lincs is coming back to the Lincolnshire Showground for it’s fourth year. Returning on Sunday the 8th April, 2018, it is a great day out for all the family. The perfect way to end the Easter holidays. Last year over 4,000 people attended and this year it will be even bigger.
Gather the kids for an interactive and fun day where you can learn about food, farming and the countryside. Also, you will have the chance to meet crafters, farmers and producers, as well as lots of animals. Get involved and help to bake, explore and experience Lincolnshire heritage first hand.
There will be a large variety of activities for the kids to join in on with 7 different zones, both indoors and outdoors. So, whatever the weather, you are guaranteed to have a great day. Children will be able to explore the zones, learning about the local food and even making some themselves, such as sausages and bread. There will also be hands-on activities where you can get creative and even meet some of the farmyard animals.
If you have ever wanted to ride on a tractor, you can sit on the trailer and be taken around the Showground. Along with this, there will be events taking place throughout the day for everyone to enjoy in the Countryside Ring.
The adults won’t be left out either. In addition, there will be a farmer’s market where you can buy your favourite products.
