The Gin Society Festival first came to Lincoln in 2017 and it was a great success. People loved it so much that it is back once again from Friday 8th June to Sunday 10th June, 2018. The event will take place in Lincoln’s Drill Hall for a fun and entertaining gin-filled experience. You must be 18 years old to attend this event.
With over 120 gins to try, ranging from the classic to the contemporary, you will find what you love. There is an exclusive tasting station where you can try something new and different. Is gin not your thing? That’s okay because this year there will also be a prosecco cocktail bar available. At the bar you can try fruity cocktails that you won’t find anywhere else.
The Gin Society has arranged for distillers to visit and talk about the history of their gin. If you have ever wanted to know the industry secrets, this event is for you. Visit for the evening and listen to the DJ play vintage sounds to help you relax.
There will be multiple sessions you can attend over the weekend. These are the dates and times:
Friday 8th June: 6pm – 10.30pm
Saturday 9th June: Afternoon Session 12noon – 4.30pm
Saturday 9th June: Evening Session 6pm – 10.30pm
Sunday 10th June: Afternoon Session 12noon – 4.30pm
It costs £9.62 to book your place at the event. Along with your entrance, you will also receive a beautiful gin glass; the Gin Booklet of notes to guide you as you make your gin journey; and a pen.
You can pay for the drinks with vouchers, which are dispensed at the event in multiples of £5, £10 and £20.
A single gin (25ml) costs £5 with complimentary mixer and garnish. The prosecco & gin cocktails are £10 (200 ml).
