Running from Friday 4th May to Friday 11th May, 2018, Lincoln Fashion Week is set to take the city by storm. It is the third year in which the event is being held and this one is particularly special. This year the theme is Aviation to celebrate 100 years of the Royal Air Force. There will be 8 days to celebrate the vibrant fashion culture of the city, while supporting local charities.
Lincoln is home to global brands and also independent retailers, situated along the high street, all the way to the Bailgate. They will all come together for a week to celebrate fashion, makeup, hairdressing, photography and design. Throughout the city there will be fashion events that you can attend and enjoy.
Lincoln Fashion Week is being sponsored by Lincoln BIG, Waterside Shopping Centre, St. Marks Shopping Centre and Pentagon. The event chose Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance as their charity partner, something the charity is extremely happy about. Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance helicopter has been a great help to the two counties. They are able to reach someone within 20 minutes and take them to a hospital within 8. The charity will receive half of the ticket sales, raising awareness of the charity at the same time.
The fashion week is spread across central Lincoln, with many individual retailers involved.
