The annual Lincoln Festival of Cycling is a highlight in the British cycling calendar. This year the Lincoln Grand Prix will celebrate its 63rd year and will be sponsored by Impsport. The event sees amateur cyclists compete from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th of May.
The Criterium will take place on Friday 11th, the Lincoln GP Sportive and the Uphill Dash will take place on the Saturday as well. The grand finale, the men and women’s Lincoln Grand Prix will finish off the weekend on the Sunday. The festival is perfect for those who love to cycle!
Sunday’s Annual Lincoln Grand Prix Sportive Elite Series, attracts the very best UK-based teams as well as professional teams from around the world. It is a major league player in cycling competitions.
Cycling through the Lincolnshire Wolds, you will then be tested as you face the steep hills of Lincoln’s cobbled Cathedral Quarter.

If you want to watch the cyclists cross the finish line, the best place to watch is Castle Hill. See the cyclists tackle the Michaelgate climb to cross the finish line.
You can stay refreshed along the Bailgate with the many pubs, cafes and restaurants. As well as this there are some great areas to spectate the races.
