"A week of interesting walks around North Kesteven"
Taking place from Saturday 14th to Saturday 28th July 2018, the NK Walking Festival is an event that helps promote the outstanding walking opportunities on offer throughout North Kesteven.
Planning is well underway and they want to create added value by offering extras to the walks including a visit to Cogglesford Watermill and a tour of Temple Bruer, which was once one of the wealthiest Templar preceptories in England. There will also be a charity walk following the positive feedback from last year.
The district offers many walking opportunities for all ages and abilities ranging in distance from location to location. Walks have been carefully selected for the event and are taken from the current walking provision in North Kesteven which are:
