The Lincolnshire Show

Wednesday 20th & Thursday 21st June 2018

The Lincolnshire Show is an annual event dedicated to all things agricultural. The incredible event celebrates all that is great about rural Lincolnshire, and it’s a brilliant day out for families. The show is comprised of an impressive mix of entertainment, along with snippets of horticulture and farm life for guests to experience.

The Main Ring is the place to go for unmissable entertainment at the show. Take a seat ring-side and relax with a picnic as you enjoy an eclectic programme of entertainment – all day! On the bill are musicians, stunt performers, scurry drivers and show jumpers, and those are just a few examples.

The food too is well worth a mention. At the Lincolnshire Show, many of the region’s top chefs come together to provide exquisite dishes for guests to enjoy. There are live cooking shows at the Lincolnshire Kitchen, and a huge selection of top quality street food stalls to indulge in. The creme de la creme of Lincolnshire’s producers are on hand to showcase their artisan produce, included meat, cheeses, jams, chutneys and locally-produced craft beer.

Green fingered visitors should make their way over to the Horticultural Zone, where a beautiful array of blooms and floral displays will be on show throughout the event. There’s also a bandstand in this area, with live musicians on hand to entertain as you explore.

The Aviation Zone pays homage to a key part of Lincolnshire’s history, and its connections to the RAF and Red Arrows. This is the place to go for all things aviation, and it never fails to impress younger visitors! The Aviation Zone has been part of the Lincolnshire Show since its launch back in 2016, and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever this year. There’ll be real-life cockpits and fuselages to see, and experts on hand to discuss the aircraft.

When time comes to relax, make your way over to the Member’s Lawn to soak up the sun with a glass of Pimm’s in hand. Here you’ll be able to enjoy the unbeatable atmosphere of the Lincolnshire Show as you unwind and discuss everything you’ve seen and done throughout the day. What could be better!

The Lincolnshire Show is a huge celebration of all things rural. With agricultural machinery and livestock to see, as well as entertainment like show-jumping, sheep-shearing, rural crafts, dog agility tests and so much more, it’s the ideal day out in Lincolnshire.

Be tempted at the food court, brush up on cooking tips from award-winning chefs or just relax in the heart of the action. There’s something for everyone at the Lincolnshire Show, whatever the weather.
