The George of Stamford

The George of Stamford is a Lincolnshire legend and a home from home for traditional luxury.

Strictly speaking, Winteringham Fields isn’t a hotel, but a restaurant with rooms.

However, we consider it to be the most wonderful restaurant with fabulously luxurious rooms.

Winteringham Fields is a food-lover’s paradise and is the perfect destination for an overnight stay.

If you’re wanting to celebrate a special event in total luxury, whether it’s a romantic break or a family occasion, then look no further. 

The owner and head chef, Colin McGuman, trained at a 2 Michelin-starred restaurant in France – so you can be assured that you are in for a gastronomic treat when you visit!

There are 11 stunning en-suite rooms and suites at Winteringham Fields, some with either jacuzzi or aromatherapy baths. All are individually designed to the highest specifications.

The standard of food, service and accommodation at Winteringham Fields is so high that many customers return time after time. Indeed, such is its fantastic reputation, visitors often travel from overseas to stay here.

The 7 en-suite bedrooms are bright, elegant and extremely comfortable. A reviewer from The Sunday Telegraph commented that the bedrooms at The Brownlow Arms: “could easily grace a luxury town house hotel with double their price tag”. She also described the restaurant as being “faultless”. What more can we say?
