Woodland Waters

Covering a total of 72 acres, Woodland Waters is set within the Lincolnshire countryside with picturesque surroundings, it is the perfect getaway. There are five well stocked lakes for you to explore and luxurious lodges situated nearby.

The great selection of lakes give a variety of environments and species of fish, such as:

  • Specimen Lake: Covers 14 acres, predominantly Carp water, as well as Bream, Rudd, Perch and large Pike, some weighting up to 27 ½ lbs.
  • Match Lake: Covers 7 acres, noted for large head of Tench weighing up to 11 ½ lbs, as well as Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Carp.
  • Small Carp Lake: Perfect for beginners with easy water and carp weighing up to 10lbs. Only a quarter of an acre with two islands.
  • Birch Lake: The newest lake that is well stocked with Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach and Rudd. Great for anglers of any level.
  • Roach Pool: A great lake for junior anglers and is well stocked with small Carp, Tench, Crucians and Roach.

While at Woodland Waters you can choose to stay in either the Lakeview Lodges, Park Home Lodges or Lakeview En-Suite Lodges. The lakeview lodges overlook the Match Lake and have open plan accommodation over one level with one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. Also overlooking the Match Lake are the lakeview en-suite lodges, which are slightly larger than the ordinary ones. Set on higher ground that overlooks the Specimen Lake, the park home lodges feature one double and one twin bedroom with an open plan living area.

Waterside Fishing Lodges

Located on the edge of a well-stocked mixed coarse lake in Lincolnshire, the Waterside Fishing Lodges are the perfect holiday retreat for keen anglers. Home to specimen carp weighing up to 25lbs and surrounded by beautiful scenery, you can enjoy a relaxing break.

The towns of Spilsby and Horncastle are close by, as are the sandy beaches of the coast for you to explore when you’re not sat beside the lake. With only the Willow Lodge and Kingfisher Lodge on site, you will have the whole lake to yourself.

Features of the lodges include:

  • Living/dining room/kitchen area
  • One double and twin bedroom on ground floor

Mill Farm Leisure

Situated in the village of Wangle, Mill Farm Leisure has a variety of holiday cottages, log cabins and lakeside lodges, all with hot tubs, for you to choose from. Mill Farm is perfect for a secluded holiday with its own coarse fishing lake.

The lake itself was first excavated in 2003, but has matured to provide plenty of vegetation and reed clad bays. Occupying 1 acre, the depth varies from 1.5ft down to 9ft in some places and is home to a stock of Carp, Tench, Perch, Rudd and Roach. From dawn until dusk, spend your time beside the lake and retreat to the lodges in the evening that are only 30 metres away.

The lakeside lodges are perfect for anglers, with their own private fishing platform that is part of the large decked terrace. Features of the lodges include:

  • Lounge area with open plan layout
  • Kitchen with dining area
  • Bedroom with double bed
  • Bathroom with all soft towels and toiletries provided

Rural Roosts

Set within the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside, Rural Roosts offers luxury pine lodges and two tranquil fishing lakes that are well stocked with a variety of coarse fish. Lodge lake is approximately one and a half acres in size, home to Carp, Bream, Rudd and Roach, some of which weigh up to 10lbs. The second lake, which is called reservoir lake, is a specimen lake aimed at more serious anglers.

The self-catering pine lodges were built in a traditional style with Scandinavian pine and are warm and insulated throughout the cooler months. All 8 lodges are built on a single level and sleep 2, 4, 6 or 8 people. They also have the following features:

  • Variety of double, king size, super king size and twin-bedded rooms
  • Spacious living areas
  • Fully equipped kitchens
  • Large decked veranda with outdoor furniture

Willow Lakes Leisure Park

Situated on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, Willow Lakes Leisure Park is close to Grimsby. It also provides ease of access to many popular destinations. Surrounded by incredible views and two well-stocked lakes on your doorstep, it is the perfect holiday destination for the whole family.
