The Old Rectory at Stewton

The Old Rectory at Stewton is a charming boutique b&b located on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, just 2 miles from Louth. It features in The Good Hotel Guide (only one of five hotels in the county  to do so) and gets 5 star rave reviews from all who stay there – it really is a hidden gem.

The Old Rectory is a charming and elegant  place to stay and is a haven of tranquility.  The light and airy reception rooms – a comfy lounge and a conservatory that overlooks the lovely gardens – are great places to unwind.

You will be made to feel most welcome for the duration of your stay – nothing is too much trouble for your genial hosts.

Rooms at The Old Rectory

Bedrooms at The Old Rectory are both quirky and spectacular – some have four-poster beds and roll top baths. All are immaculately decorated and exceptionally comfortable. Bathrobes, complementary toiletries, a well stocked hospitality tray and free wi-fi are standard.

Rooms range from twin, to family, to a suite with a sitting room, and all are exceptionally good value.

The owners of this boutique b&b pay great attention to detail, ensuring that their guests have a truly comfortable stay – things such as blackout blinds and season-appropriate bedding (so that you won’t be boiling under a thick duvet in the middle of summer!) really do make all the difference.

Breakfasts here are legendary and are served from 6.30am (for the early birds who want to be out and about) until late.

Even if you have a 6.30 start, you’ll still receive a Full Lincolnshire Breakfast served with a smile!

Dog friendly

The Old Rectory at Stewton welcomes well-behaved dogs and their owners!

You really couldn’t wish for a better location – The Old Rectory is just 2 miles from Louth, which was voted the UK’s favourite market town in 2012 by the BBC’s Countryfile magazine.

It is also less than 10 miles from the Lincolnshire coast, with its award-winning blue flag beaches, and less than 10 miles from Cadwell Park.

The stunning Lincolnshire Wolds, with its pretty villages and great walks, is on the doorstep.

Other places to visit include Lincoln and – for aviation buffs – the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Trail.

There are plenty of great places to eat in nearby Louth – just ask your hosts for where is best.

The Old Rectory at Stewton offers luxury hotel accommodation in a beautiful country setting at very reasonable prices – it’s no wonder that guests keep returning time after time!
